This answers the 4th question and it shows that a struggle during the trip to america was getting there safely without any troubles of police or athourity. It shows that ellis mom was scared that Her and elli wouldnt make it but they were all imagining how great it would be if they did. But when they got to shore everyone on the boat were extremely thankful.

This Connects to me personally becaue ive been in this place like when im about to get to something that means so much to me you just think the worst thing possible still has a chance of happening. Like sometimes in a race or something and you just think that some thing is going to happen.




Quote 2: On page 14, at the beginning of the 5th paragraph.
"I hope you will achive your goals."

This answers the seventh questions because they were told that someone wants their goals to be achieved. It proves that someone wants good for them, they now know that people in america are friendly and helpfull. As long as this keeps up things in America will be great for them.

This has happened to me before, someone has wished me good luick and it feels like you can do anything. I know that this will help them out, when someone wishes me good it always turns out for the best.
